Acknowledgement Of Country

We respect First Nations peoples and their enduring connection to country – to the land, air, waterways, oceans, animals and plants – and recognise the wisdom and culture that has seen them thrive for thousands of years. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and, with humility and courage, wholeheartedly commit heads, hearts and hands to a path of healing, restitution and justice, embracing the wisdom of those who can guide us. We will fulfil our responsibility with honesty and integrity, we will challenge injustice, and - in all of this - we will hold ourselves accountable.

Sexual and reproductive health consultation

We need your help to improve sexual and reproductive healthcare service delivery and access.

Women and gender diverse people in regional and rural areas often face complex barriers when accessing sexual and reproductive healthcare.

So, we’re launching a community consultation to better understand the experiences of women and gender diverse people as well as insights from healthcare providers.

Your participation will help us advocate for improvements in the Barwon South West.

  • If you’re 18 or older, a woman or gender diverse person living in Barwon South West, and have accessed sexual or reproductive health services, please take our short community survey.
  • If you’re a service provider working in sexual and reproductive health (e.g., GP, nurse, midwife, educator) we’d love you to complete our service provider survey.

Complete the short online survey between May 12 and June 6, 2025, and go in to the running to win one of four $100 gift vouchers. All responses are confidential.

If you’ve accessed, or deliver, services for the following, please complete our survey:

  • maternal and child health
  • chronic reproductive conditions (endometriosis, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian syndrome)
  • abortion
  • menopause
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection’s (STI’s)
  • contraception
  • sexual and reproductive health education
  • any other sexual and reproductive health matters

The survey takes approximately 15 – 20 minutes to complete and information gathered in the consultation will be used to improve service delivery and access locally and to advocate for improved women’s sexual and reproductive healthcare.

All responses will be anonymous.
